Commendation Award Win – Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2019 Competition

25 March 2020 | Awards, Photography

I am pleased to announce that my submission to the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2019 (SLPOTY) Competition has won an award of a Commendation in the Seascape category.

Unlike a lot of major photography competitions, the award winner of this competition is not based on a single image, instead the grand title “Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year” is awarded to the photographer whom in the opinion of the judges has entered the best set of three landscape images into the competition. My congratulations go to the Overall Winner Kenny Muir. There are also single image categories for Landscapes, Seascapes and Urban images, as well as some specific specialised categories.

This is my commended image: a photo of the Tantallon Castle, East Lothian, Scotland.

My thanks to Stuart Low who does a fantastic job of organising this competition.
